While I know that divulging almost 20 years of dating software business tactics is going to give the competition a bit more fuel for the fire, It’s important that these tips help dating software providers with doing what needs to be done in order to secure more dating software sales. So, yeah, it includes giving customers the warm fuzzies. Below I have listed some key things that you need to do in order to get more software sales. While this is designed for dating software, it applies to any type of customer service oriented type of site.

The first thing you want to do is not hide your contact information. If a customer can’t find it soon they’re going to get upset. This applies to new customers even more. You want sales and you need to do everything possible to secure those sales.

The next thing is the way you communicate with people. If you’re nice and know what you’re talking about then you’ll secure more sales. Treat people how you want to be treated. There are always going to be upset people and while you can’t appease them all you can’t deter from that. Yes, even the trolls. There will be trolls just like in any sector of ecommerce business. But don’t play into them. Don’t respond to trolls. They’re out there but don’t let them get to you. I don’t.

Another tip here is to be quick in your replies to emails. I can’t tell you how many people bought dating software from me when I responded to their emails quickly. Being here in the states there are a lot of potential dating software customers so I’m pretty much in their time zone so when they email, I get the email and immediately reply. Again, I can’t tell you how many people were impressed and noted that in the emails. “Wow, that was fast.”.

Another extremely important thing is your demo. You want to keep the demo running smooth. That means keep it up and running as well as refreshed. By default when I install the dating software demo I will setup a cron job. The cron job will restart the demo. I set this to happen every 3 hours. What it does is re-imports the default sql file so that the demo always has what it needs. This is because some people like to mess things up in the demos. This ensures that new people coming to view your demo will see it in it’s finest shape.
