With the attention span of internet users being mere seconds, if you don’t capture them immediately you’re going to lose them. Forcing them to find the app, download the app, install the app, launch the app, register on the app and login not only adds several steps that will annoy users and have them fleeing your site in droves but it will cut your registrations in half. If you use a responsive design, capture them the second they hit your site in two clicks. Not 6!
